Petrobras is a publicly traded corporation whose majority shareholder is the Government of Brazil, and act as an energy company in the following sectors: exploration and production, refining, marketing and transportation of oil and natural gas, petrochemicals, distribution of oil products, energy, biofuels and other renewable sources of energy.
It is leader of the Brazilian oil industry and it expanded its operations to be among the five largest integrated energy companies in the world by 2020. It is present in 28 countries.
