Oceânica Offshore

Oceânica has been chosen one more time by Petrobras America to continue with the studies for offloading operations of the BW Pioneer platform located in the Cascade-Chinook basin, at Gulf of Mexico. The partnership with Petrobras America comes since 2007, when Oceânica performed a initial offloading study for the same FPSO. In this phase 2, numerical simulations will be performed to support the definition of the safety limits of oil transfer operations.

According to Daniel Cueva, Oceânica’s director, the new project comes to consolidate the partnership between the company and Petrobras America, besides its international presence.
