Oceanica completes agreement to supply Simulator for CBO.

Oceanica completes agreement to supply Simulator for CBO. Oceanica Offshore has, since 2007, a partnership with Maritime Research Institute Netherlands (MARIN), organization specialized in offshore sector P&D, nautical and naval. Through this agreement, Oceanica provides for the Brazilian market the option to purchase and customize ship simulators and traffic depending on the needs of each client, with the option to implement in a single environment virtualization full command cabin of vessels with one or two stations of manoeuvre. The more new supply of this product has been signed with Companhia Brasileira de OffShore (CBO), a company leader in the sector of maritime support to oil rigs, with 100% national capital. Signed last October, the contract anticipates providing a simulator with plotting approximately 300 degrees, the forward operating station and aft station with dynamic positioning. For Daniel Cueva, Director of Oceanica, the use of real-time simulations in a virtualized Bridge allows not only the training of new teams, but also the prior assessment of specific operations, helping to minimize risk and increasing operational efficiency. This is the third simulator installed in Brazil with Oceanic Technology-Marin, making the partnership a reference for instruction, training, and technical analyses in nautical market.
